Aquatic Participation Fun Day

Swimming Queensland is offering Free Aquatic Participation Fun Days throughout Queensland with the support of the Georgina Hope Foundation.

The objective of Aquatic Participation Fun Days is for children and adults with a disability to enjoy fun water
activities and to gain aquatic skills and confidence, in a relaxed and safe environment.

What will be covered?

Water Safety - Land and Water Activities

Game Skills and Novelty Swimming Races

Aquatic Activity Skills including:

  • Balance Station
  • Breathing/Bubbling Station
  • Buoyancy Station
  • Submersion Station
  • Mobility Station

Aquatic Participation Fun Days provide professional development for school teachers and learn to swim teachers on aquatic skills for any child or adult with a disability. This professional development opportunity will enhance aquatic skills and provide practical examples to implement in swimming programs.
