EVENT DETAILS

  • EVENT LINKS
  • TICKETING
  • All competing swimmers (free) and spectators ($7 plus fees) will require a Ticketbooth Ticket for this event; each ticket is specific to a Grandstand (East/West), Section (1-14), Row and Seat. Tickets go on sale Tuesday 9 November, from 7pm.

Please note, spectator tickets are complimentary on Friday evening; any spectators available to assist with timekeeping and lap counting would be greatly appreciated.

  • CHECKING IN AT THE EVENT
  • All attendees must check in on arrival at the event. Swimmers and spectators must produce their Ticketbooth ticket for scanning and must also check in using the Check In Qld app. Officials, coaches and staff must check in using the Check In Qld app at the check in desk located at the front entry. Those unable to check in using their device, must check in using the devices available at the main entry. Please note, the Check In Qld app is not required for unaccompanied minors under the age of 16 years.

  • WRISTBANDS & STAMPS
  • Every attendee will be given a stamp or wristband when they check in at the front entry. Spectators will be given a wristband, which will grant them entry for the entire day. While, swimmers, coaches and officials requiring pool deck access will be stamped after checking in. All attendees must show their stamp or wristband to staff stationed on the entry gates at both grandstands to gain entry.

  • ENTRY POINT OPENING TIMES
  • The front entry will open at 4:30pm Friday evening (at the Eastern grandstand gates) and 7:00am Saturday and Sunday (at the front of the grandstand concourse under the marquees), with contactless scanning in place, we expect this to be a smooth process. However, where large numbers arrive at the same time, please be patient and ensure physical distancing is practiced as you move through.

  • MARSHALLING
  • Self-marshalling will be in place for this event. Swimmers will enter the pool deck to self marshal as indicated in the pool deck flow map. The self-marshalling entry list is available on the event page, click here to access.

Swimmers will only be permitted on pool deck to self marshal a certain number of races prior to their heat: three heats prior for 50m-200m events; two heats prior for 400m events and one heat prior for 800m and 1500m events. Swimmers can approach the Help Desk (see pool deck flow map) for assistance. It a good idea for swimmers to write all event/heat/lane numbers on their arm, in that order.

    Marshalling Requirements for 400m, 800m & 1500m events
Events of 400m and over require swimmers (or their Coach / Team Manager) to confirm their intention to swim.  This must be completed at the Help Desk, located at the start end, a minimum of one hour prior to the published start time of the relevant event.  Failure to confirm their intention to swim will be taken as a withdrawal. Confirmed swimmers must then follow the self-marshalling procedures.
