This event is targeted specifically as part of Swimming Queensland's Development Program. Selected athletes will be contacted directly with invitations and details.
Criteria for section is as follows:
Male: 14 - 18yrs, Female: 13 - 18yrs
Swimmers are selected based on performances at the 2018 Queensland Championships, 2019 Australian Championships and 2018 Australian Age Championships. Swimmers’ physical, technical and skill characteristics, and their training and physical maturity, are assessed at the above meets to determine eligibility.
