The Tokyo Olympics have been nothing short of amazing!

9 Gold medals – This is the most ever by an Australian Swim Team!

21 total medals (including 9 Gold, 3 Silver and 9 Bronze) – This is the most ever by an Australian Swim Team!

3 women claimed 2 x individual Gold! Ariarne Titmus (200m & 400m Freestyle), Kaylee McKeown (100m & 200m Backstroke and Emma McKeon (50m & 100m Freestyle)!

Emma McKeon won 7 medals, the equal most number of medals by an Australian at a single Olympics! AND is now the most successful Australian swimming Olympian ever, with 11 total medals, surpassing the 9 medals won by Ian Thorpe and Leisel Jones and equalling Ian Thorpe’s gold medal count (5)!

Six from 7 relay teams were on the podium, 2 Gold and 4 Bronze!

Australian Women won Gold in the 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m Freestyle events!

The first medal for an Australian in the Marathon Swimming at the Olympics, Kareena Lee secured a Bronze!
