Swimming Queensland are proud to announce that we will be piloting the inclusion of Para athletes on the 2019 Queensland Team that will compete at the 2019 State Teams Championships. Swimming Queensland are very proud of the success of Queensland swimmers and coaches over the past 10 years and this is a wonderful opportunity take part in this prestigious meet.
Para athletes are required to meet the below criteria to be eligible for selection:
- Aged 13 to 17 years
- S6 to S14 classification
- up to 2 Male and 2 Female
Para athletes must be able to travel independently as part of the team (with no parents/guardian/carer)
Para Dolphins are not eligible to participate (i.e. those with a Swimming Australia pin number)
