Swimming Queensland is sad to learn that Roy Holland has passed away. Roy – the father of legendary distance swimmer Stephan Holland - was a swim school pioneer in the Brisbane region and taught thousands of children the art of learning to swim. Roy’s funeral service will be held at 1.30 pm this Friday at 287 Kianawah Road, Wynnum West, with a wake to follow at the Wynnum Manly Rugby League Club.
