Event Details

Some fantastic news with today’s announcement seeing Stage 3 restrictions implemented from 4pm today for the following Local Government Area’s; Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Logan, Gold Coast, Townsville and Palm Island. This brings these LGA’s in line with the rest of Queensland.

Key changes are an increase to 100% allocated seated and ticketed capacity for indoor events OR 1 person per 2m2 indoors.

Importantly, residents of Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Logan, Gold Coast, Townsville and Palm Island must wear masks indoors at all times unless seated.

EVENT INFORMATION

  • TICKETS
  • All spectators and swimmers require a pre-purchased ticket to this event, via Ticketbooth (https://events.ticketbooth.com.au/event/long-course-preparation-meet-1-2021); Spectators $7 (plus fees) and competing swimmers (free). Each ticket is for a specific section, row and seat in the grandstand which must be used by attendees during the event. This includes swimmers when they are not actively warming up, competing or swimming down.

In order to remain compliant, ticketed seats must be used during the event, regardless if other seats are vacant; as a requirement of our ability to host this event.

Any coaches who wish to sit in the grandstand must also organise a Ticketbooth ticket for this event (complimentary); email us for your code. There will not be any Club Manager allocations or pre-assigned club group seating.

  • MASKS
  • Masks are required at this event and must be worn at all times when inside the aquatic centre (including in and around pool deck) and outside when physical distancing is unachievable. Masks can only be removed when seated in your ticketed seat. Competing swimmers may ONLY remove their mask just prior to entering the water (e.g. when they’re walking out behind the blocks), with their mask required to be put back on as soon as practical after warming down and/or racing. The event will be stopped if masks are not being worn appropriately by attendees.

  • ENTRY INFORMATION
  • ENTRY POINT OPENING TIMES
The front entry will open at 7:00am each day, with contactless scanning in place, we expect this to be a smooth process. However, where large numbers arrive at the same time, please be patient and ensure physical distancing is practiced as you move through.

    CHECKING IN AT THE EVENT
All attendees must check in on arrival at the event. Swimmers and spectators must produce their Ticketbooth ticket for scanning and must also check in using the Check In Qld app. Officials, coaches and staff must check in using the Check In Qld app at the check in desk located at the front entry. Those unable to check in using their device, must check in using the devices available at the main entry.

Please note, the Check In Qld app is not required for unaccompanied minors under the age of 16 years.

    WRISTBANDS & STAMPS
Every attendee will be given a stamp or wristband when they check in at the front entry. Spectators will be given a wristband, which will grant them entry for the entire day. While, swimmers, coaches and officials requiring pool deck access will be stamped after checking in. All attendees must show their stamp or wristband to staff stationed on the entry gates at both grandstands to gain entry.
